A one of a kind crochet toque/beanie pattern for your special pup. Hats have been seen on Instagram with @theburdboys, @the_domesticated_bear, @the.golden.sophie, @candysandy_macandsully and many others.

This pattern includes:

Pattern for 1 size of hat - Large. 6 inches between ears across the top of the dog’s head and approximately 19 inches circumference under their ears and above their eyes.

Will fit most golden retrievers, labs, standard sized poodles and some bully breeds etc.

Materials Needed:
1 ball of worsted weight yarn (285 yards) for body of hat, yarn pom pom and braided tassels.
5mm hook size

• I used Impeccable from Michael’s for this pattern.
• If you are using Bernat Premium worsted weight yarn, you will want to increase your hook size to 5.5/6mm depending on gage check.

If you are making a yarn pompom with multi color you will need a 2nd ball or scrap yarn. Also for braided tassels.
Faux Fur pompom if you are not making your own pompom.

Notes:
Pattern is written in Canadian/USA terms.
Initial chain at beginning of each row is not included in the stitch count.
This pattern is worked from the top down, working in the round. Do not turn your work.
Gage check: 2 rows of 7 DC should be 2 inches wide by 1 inch tall.
