The Primrose Cardigan is knitted from bottom to top. First you knit the back and the front parts in one piece. The pockets are integrated directly, the technique for this part is described. Then you seperate the back and the front parts and finish every part seperately. You sew the shoulders together and pick up new stitches to knit the sleeves. At the end you pick up stitches along the whole side pieces to create the border.
You need intermediate knitting skills to knit this pattern. You should be able to follow a knitting chart.
