The romantic and lightweight Primrose Shawl uses three colors of a cashmere and silk blend. The off-center column of parallel yarnovers creates an asymmetrical chevron shape. The eyelet row that separates the stripes is a clever way to disguise the color “blips” that usually occur when changing colors in garter stitch, making this shawl truly reversible.

Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• This asymmetrical shawl is worked back and forth from the top down.

• A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.

• Take care that the stitch marker does not migrate underneath the adjacent yarnover and out of position.

• It may be helpful to place a removable marker on the right side of the work so you can easily identify it.
