Primrose Gardiner was the ninth child, and fifth daughter, of Samwise and Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee. She had three younger brothers, Bilbo, Robin, and Tolman, and one younger sister, Ruby.
Primrose’s Party Dress is an excellent layering piece for cooler weather that easily dresses up an infant’s comfortable sleeper. The pattern is worked in the round in one piece from the hem to the underarms. After the underarms are bound off, the front and back of the bodice are worked separately and flat. There are no seams; the shoulders are buttoned together with two buttons on each side. The generous skirt is worked with extra fullness at the back to accommodate baby’s diaper.
Instruction Format:
The entire pattern is written; using written instructions for this pattern is required.
The bodice above the underarms is additionally charted; using charted instructions for this pattern is optional.
