Primula Denticulata
This shawl is worked in one piece starting at the back of the neck. It consists of 3 triangles that are worked simultaneously. The body is worked in the main colour and the border in a contrasting colour. The transition rows are worked with both colours, and then the lacey border is worked in the contrasting colour with optional beads. The size can be easily adjusted by working additional (or fewer) repeats of either or both the body and edging.
Both charts as well as written instructions are included.
This is an intermediate pattern, and the stitch count increases with each right side row, but an adventurous beginner may also enjoy this design.
This is shown in 2 co-ordinating colours of laceweight handspun, but any laceweight or fingering weight yarn can be used.
a single skein of each colour (200 to 400m depending on the desired size) is required.
Optional size 6 seed beads for the lace edging.
