Princess Breanna Fundraiser
This pattern was created as a fundraising tool for an adorably sweet little girl in my community who is currently awaiting open heart surgery (her 4th!) and a pacemaker.
Breanna was born on June 7, 2010 with rare, severe congenital heart defects called Tricuspid Atresia (TA) and Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA). She received her first two open heart surgeries before she was 10 days old.
In total, she has had 3 open heart surgeries, numerous caths, received a tracheostomy, was on a ventilator, and she was g-tube fed for her first 2 years of life. She’s also had lung surgery, survived blood infections, and was hospitalized for 6 months after her birth. But, she fought through it all. She is proof that God is good and miracles exist!
Next month, Breanna will be undergoing her 4th open heart surgery. She will also receive a pacemaker. We welcome you to join us in prayer and support for our hero and CHD warrior, Breanna.
If you would like to keep up with Breanna and her fight against CHD, please visit: www.facebook.com/breannasheart
Thank you so much for your purchase of this pattern! A donation will be made in your name to Breanna’s family to help cover the various costs of food, lodging and travel.
This crochet pattern is written in English with U.S. crochet terms. It is 4 pages long and written in easy to follow directions and lots of high-quality photos.
I work hard to make sure my patterns are very thorough- I give you stitch counts for each round, tell you where to make increases and decreases (no doing the math yourself!!), and provide lots of photos as guides. Princess Breanna is easy and relatively quick to work up. She’’s made in several pieces that are stitched together, so you can work on him a little bit at a time if you want.
