I whipped up this adorable little hat because I needed a project that would use up just a little bit of my favorite handspun yarn. Even before I started knitting with it, it reminded me of cotton candy! As soon as I thought of cotton candy, my mind immediately jumped to one of my favorite shows, Adventure Time! One of the characters in the show, Princess Bubblegum, rules the Candy Kingdom and does awesome science, so obviously I’m going to be a huge fan. Even more awesome, she always wears pink, so I could totally see her throwing on this hat for a more casual day in the castle.

The textured stitches have extra charm with a yarn that is slightly thick and thin. I love this hat, and I hope you have fun making your own!!
