In October 2019 while taking part in a challenge to finish as many outstanding projects as possible, I realised that life is too short to keep projects around that you no longer had the passion to finish. I frogged a project made from a Scheepjes Whirl, and seeing as I absolutely love the yarn, I just knew it had to become something special. From this frogged project a beautiful new wrap was born, and I simply had to call it the “Princess Frog wrap”. The frog(ged) that turned into a beautiful princess!
The pattern has 3 sections increasing on one side to form a triangle. Surface slip stitch embroidery and tassels add a special touch to the finished wrap.
The pattern is written in US terms and the stitches are standard, but the increase method used might be a bit tricky making this pattern more suitable for an intermediate level project but might be a good challenge for the more adventurous beginner. The pattern has been tested by both experienced and beginner pattern testers.
The sample is made using 1 Scheepjes Whirl, but any fingering weight gradient yarn with a good drape may be used.
