Princess Holly
FORMAT: PDF document of 12 pages with detailed instructions and images illustrating the process
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
FINISHED SIZE: If done with super fine and fine or light yarn and 1.3 mm hook, it’s sitting 14” (35cm) tall
Materials:
-
Yarn (Weight: fingering or super fine yarn) • Beige • Pink • Pale yellow • Yellow (hair) (Weight: fine or light yarn) • A bit of purple, white and black
-
Hook 1.3
-
Fiberfill
-
Yarn or tapestry needle
-
Wire
-
Pieces of white felt for the wings and few black for eyes
-
Few plastic (can be used on the cover of plastic containers of ice-cream, for example)
IMPORTANT:
• All rounds are worked in a continuous spiral, unless instructed otherwise
• Use a stitchmarker for counting your rounds
• If you prefer to sew parts together, leave a long tail after you finish off. I think the toy looks neater if you sew with a finer yarn. (For example, a seperate piece of thread from the yarn you crocheted with)
• It is easier if you add your fiberfill to all the pieces as you are crocheting them
