The Tale of Princess Kaguya is the best known Japanese fairy tale The story is about a beautiful girl who is found inside a shining bamboo stalk by an old bamboo cutter man. Her name is Kaguya. She is only the size of a finger. Soon, she grows into an exquisite lady.

Materials that you need:

• Worsted weight yarn (4 ply). Kaguya: beige, black, red, yellow. Bamboo: soft yellow, leaf green, pistachio green. Old man: beige, moss green, brown, white.
• 3.5 mm (size E) crochet hook
• 5 mm & 12mm safety eyes
• Soft stuffing (such as polyester fiberfill)
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Scissors
• Two small pieces of brown felt
