Another egg cosy, this time for my fellow Star Wars fans out there.

The Princess Leia pattern is very quick and easy to do, she can be made with or without the hood, and will also double up as a hand or finger puppet (depending on your age and size of your hands).

The cosy is made using double knit acrylic and a 4mm hook, gauge isn’t important, as this size fits a kinder egg, so anything up to a duck egg should be fine. The only other thing you’ll need is a small amount of stuffing for the head and hair buns.

The hood is optional, I’ve made them with and without, instructions are included for the hood if you want to do one.

I don’t put faces on my cosies, but feel free to add them if you prefer.
