This was my original Baby Princess Crown Knitting Pattern (which I first made for family and friends in the early 1990s and continues to be a popular item).. the pattern features row by row instructions and uses double knitting yarn (1 strand and 2 strand depending on sizes required) - easy to make - knitted flat (not in the round) and joined with simple back seam.
