The Prisca cowl (some might call it a snood) comes in two versions. Both are great companions for the cold season of the year.
Version 1 is only knit in rounds. Version 2 is open at the bottom and starts with rows that form decorative corners in the middle of your front and back, which makes it even more attractive. The top of version 2 is knit in rounds as well.
This cowl does not hug the neck too closely, so you do not feel as if it is choking you. When it gets cold, you can draw it upwards and over your ears and warm your complete head with it.
The pattern contains charts as well as a written pattern for every single row or round.

Materials:
Prisca 1 circular (blue): 100 g Schoppel Zauberball (420 m/100g), circular or DPN needles 4 mm (US6); 1 stitch marker
Other yarn choices: for example sock yarn 4-ply; Bobbel yarn/yarn cake Merino 3-ply 400 m, or any other yarn that meets the gauge

Prisca 2 bottom open, top circular (violet- pale green): 150 g Laines du Nord Poema (600 m/150 g, yarn consumption: 125 g and 500 m), circular or DPN needles 4.5 mm (US7); 1 stitch marker
Other yarn choices: for example sock yarn 4-ply; Merino yarn 170 m/50 g; Bobbel yarn/yarn cake Merino 4-ply 500 m, or any other yarn that meets the gauge

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm, 4 x 4’ (slightly blocked, pattern chart 1)
Prisca 1: 20 stitches and 34 rows
Prisca 2: 19 stitches and 30 rows

Sizes:
Prisca 1: Circumference ca. 66 cm, length ca. 50 cm

Den Mützenloop Prisca (auch Mützenschal oder Snood genannt) gibt es in zwei Varianten. Beide sind tolle Begleiter für die kalte Jahreszeit.
Variante 1 wird nur in Runden gestrickt. Variante 2 ist im unteren Bereich offen und wird zunächst in Reihen gestrickt, so entsteht eine dekorative Ecke vorne und hinten in der Mitte, die ihn zusätzlich aufpeppt. Oben wird auch diese Variante in Runden gestrickt.
Prisca sitzt halsfern und engt somit nicht ein. Nur als Loop getragen wärmt er wunderbar den Hals. Wenn es kalt wird, kann man ihn über die Ohren ziehen und er wärmt wunderbar wie eine Mütze.
