The pattern uses the mini c2c technique combined with self striping yarn to create a rainbow effect with heaps of style.

The stitch used creates a firmer that average crochet fabric so there is no need to line your bag (unless you really want to), and has a simple button close.

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.

The recommended yarn for this pattern is DK/Size 3 cotton or cotton blend yarn due to the hard wearing nature of the fibre. You can opt to make your bag in acrylic yarn, but the project may not be as hard wearing for those moments your bag lands in the middle of the dance floor.

4mm crochet hook
Darning needle
