So, you know how the lower half of your face gets cold but you don’t want anything right up against it because it gets stuck to the Chapstick on your lips and not only do your lips get fuzzy but the scarf also gets icky in that spot? Gross.

Well, the Problem-Solver is aptly named: it’s designed to trap warm air next to your skin without needing to be right against your skin. I came up with this to tackle walking dogs on those blustery winter days. It works like a charm! Wear it slumped slightly down when you don’t need it, and you get a pretty insert in the collar of your coat. Then pull it up as high as necessary when the air starts to bite.

But I wouldn’t recommend wearing it in the “UP” position to go into your bank. Especially with sunglasses.

The cream-colored version is made of Classic Elite Waterspun; the other two versions are of worsted weight handpainted yarns.

Garter stitch construction provides stability to support the insulating section right at the chin. It’s knit flat and then seamed at the back.
