Professor's Scarf
by Jess Bennett
I based this design on a romantic idea of an academic cycling through a misty university town, wrapped up in their college scarf. I actually grew up in Oxford, UK, which has a very famous university but ‘town and gown’, as they call it, are very separate so I didn’t know any professors. This is one of the reasons that I’ve chosen lots of different stripe patterns; it is an amalgamation of lots of imagined college scarfs. I also wanted to make something beginner friendly that brings in a new technique (color changes) at the end.
