This is a parallelogram shawl that comes in three sizes. A rhythmical knit, suitable for adventurous beginners, intermediates and experts alike. It is designed to show off some of those stunning long colour change yarns, such as knitpicks chroma, but the coloured sections can also be made with a gradient set.

Size:
Gauge is not critical approx. 20st to 4”/10cm
The finished size is 76”/193cm long and
small:13.5”/34cm, med:17”/43cm, large:20.5”/52cm wide

Yarn required:
Fingering (sock) weight yarn:
100g ball of Knitpicks Chroma a long colour change yarn,
2 (3, 4) 50g balls of Knitpicks Palette yarn in a dark shade
3 (3, 4) 50g balls of Knitpicks Palette yarn in a light shade.
Needle to darn in ends
The example shown is a small knitted with Knitpicks: Palette yarn Finnley Heather & Marble Heather, Chroma carnival, but you can use any yarn with similar yds/m

Skills required:
You must be able to knit, knit two together and increase by knitting into the front and back of the stitch. There are written instructions for the aster st and links to youtube videos for chinese cast on and aster st.
