Project 11: Beaded Beret
Crocheted in a woollen 4-ply rounded yarn, the increasing and decreasing techniques used to create the beret are used to place the beads throughout. The beads highlight the pattern - and watching the beaded spiral pattern emerge as you crochet is very satisfying!
Materials
- 2 x 50 g (1.75 oz) balls sport-weight 100% wool (approximately 191 yds/175 m per ball) in pale blue
- Approximately 250 glass beads in pewter
