Notes from the Designer:
It all started when one of my Knit Night friends gave me a single skein of yarn, which sparked a level of creativity that could only be described as Promethean! First, I decided it was time to conquer the hand-knit tubular cast on. I was very familiar with the method, as I was a machine knitter for years. It was time to get the technique down by hand. Then I thought, “I love the look of corrugated ribbing.” And BAM! I added corrugated ribbing. While I was at it, how about a Latvian Braid? I had never created one of those, and they’re so pretty. So off I went to learn that skill, and into the design it went. Hmmm, now what? How about some very simple, but effective colorwork? Yes, thank you! Then I moved on to the body and sleeves to finish off with another Latvian Braid and more corrugated ribbing, and voilà, you have a beautiful pullover!
