The Promises to Keep pillow has an all-over cables design to the front and back and zipper fastening at the bottom. The cables gently taper and increase throughout. The cable design is charted.

Each pillow takes 2x skeins of Juniper Moon Farm Herriot (shown in 1016) but any DK weight yarn will do. I recommend natural fibres simply because they hold the cables better.

You will also need:

Tapestry needle
Sewing needle and cotton
38cm zipper (or bigger)

There is one size only: 38cm by 38cm. The instructions explain how to use a larger zipper and trim to size for a perfect fit.

With regard to the gauge, I swatched and blocked the work quite ruthlessly to flatten it down. There a pre-blocked photos showing what it looks like naturally. Whether you block or not is a personal preference but do be warned that not blocking might affect gauge and your final cushion may be smaller. The design is rather stretchy though, even unblocked.
