The Prospect Shrug is worked from the center out. First a square of lace is worked in the round for the back. Each sleeve is then created by working a flat lace panel out for a few inches and then joining those stitches into the round to create the sleeve shaping. Finally, stitches are picked up all the way around the inside of the shrug to pull it all together with a ribbed short row collar. We recommend using sharp tip lace needles to work this project.
