This can be knit with any yarn, with any gauge. However, I recommend you knit with one needle size smaller than the yarn label calls for, unless you knit tight (then stick w/ the recommended needle).

Also, the graph says to knit 4 at beginning and end of each row; you can make your border as thick as you want, but I suggest you leave 2 purl sts (on the right side/knits on the wrong side) on left and right of the bindrune itself.
