The cardigan comes in 9 sizes :

Your size’s choice should be based on finished chest measurements as you can shorten/lengthen body and sleeves length if needed. Age label is just there to give a reference. Measure your child’s chest while wearing normal clothes (or clothes intended to be worn with the cardigan) and pick a finished garment size taking in consideration the amount of ease you wish to have.

Materials
• 275 (300, 375, 425, 500, 700, 850, 950, 1100) yards of fingering weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge (long sleeves version)
• 225 (250, 325, 375, 400, 525, 600, 700, 850) yards of fingering weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge (short sleeves version)
• 32’’ circular needle and double pointed needles (DPNs) US # 3 (3.25 mm) or any size required to obtain gauge
• Other: 8 stitch markers, 2 stitch holders, 3 0.5’’ buttons
