This quick knit cowl by Ruth Maddock uses a slip stitch pattern worked in solid and self-striping yarns. The resulting fabric has a woven appearance with a subtle shimmer, thanks to the silk content of the Noro yarns. The neck edge encloses a length of cord to tighten it, while the bottom edge is decorated with tassels.
