Summary: Two blankets knit in bulky wool sewn together produce a double-sided baby blanket.
Materials:
- size 10.5 US / 6.5 mm needles (straights or circulars)
- size 10.5 US / 6.5 mm double-pointed needles
Yarn Yardage by Color:
- 950 yds. of color A (the color used to make the "puffs" and I-cord trim)
- 750 yds. of color B
Gauge Details:
- 14 stitches and 19 rows = 4" over stockinette stitch using size 10.5 US / 6.5 mm needles
- 14 stitches and 22 rows = 4" over chart pattern using size 10.5 US / 6.5 mm needles
Chart included: diamond pattern for side of blanket knit in color B.
From Minnies: Two blankets in different colors worked in a simple diamond pattern are sewn together to make a thick carriage robe. I-cord trims the edges, and bobbles adorn the front. Warm and toasty, a unique way to keep out the winter chill.
