Last year I started a Mood Blanket but was making such big squares each day that come the end of January I was squared out!! This year I’m a little more experienced, a little wiser, a lot busier, but am determined to do a full year. I’ve created a pattern for my square, one which I think I’ll be able to change up the colours enough to stop me falling out of love with it by the end, and it’s small enough to complete and join with ends dealt with in less than half an hour (if I actually mind what I’m doing and count properly!).

This square is about 5.5” / 9cm square when complete, and I’m using the flat braid join to join my squares.
