I have used a soft Aran weight yarn (USA worsted) for the jacket and added some cute wooden toggles and button loops for easy fastening!

(DK weight yarn (USA light worsted) has been used for the 0-3 m size).

YARN
King cole comfort DK for the 0-3 m size and King cole comfort Aran for all other sizes. Most similar weight yarn brands may also be used, I recommend using soft baby yarns for the best result.

SIZES: Using 100g balls

0-3 M (1 ball of DK)
3-6 M (2 balls of Aran weight)
6-12 M (2 balls of Aran weight)
1-2 Y (3 balls of Aran weight )
2-3 Y (3 balls of Aran weight)
3-4 Y (4 balls of Aran weight)
5-6 Y (4 balls of Aran weight)
7-8 Y (5 balls of Aran weight )

All measurements are given in the pattern.

Crochet Hook sizes needed:
0-3 months - using DK - sizes 4.5mm, 3.5mm (USA 7, E/4)
All other sizes - using Aran weight - sizes 5mm, 4mm (USA H/8, G/6)
