Puffball is the second in a series of designs featuring pentaradial symmetry! It may be the simplest of these hat patterns, with easy YO increases.

The Pentardial hat patterns are structured in sections. They’re all worked in the round, with a roomy beret-style body and a closer-fitting headband.

Materials:
Approximately 125-135 yards of dk to worsted weight yarn
One 16” circular knitting needle in US 8-9/5.0-5.5mm, or size needed for gauge
One set of 5 DPNS in US 8-9/5.0-5.5mm, or size needed for gauge.
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
Gauge measures 18 sts and 26 rows over 4 inches/10cm. Be sure to check your gauge!
