PUFFED WHEAT 2015 AFGHAN CAL
My inspiration is for the puffs and post stitches to be swirling into a beautiful design reminiscent of Canadian Prairies in full harvest.
Puffs and post stitches are the main focus of this afghan, and both can be easily mastered with a little practice. The design is worked in sections and assembled for a final border which reflects the center medallion section.
The Mystery CAL was hosted in my group, Muggin’s Magic Hangout. You can refer to that group for inspiration.
Terms: Design is in American terms
Skill level: Intermediate, doable with help for adventurous beginner; post stitches, puffs, and basic tog work, slipped stitches. Tutorials provided.
Time: Each clue was designed to take from 4-6 hours, depending of course, on your working speed. Finish rounds took more time (8 hours?). Perhaps 40-60 hours altogether for afghan.
