This little puffin is knitted flat and seamed. The pattern uses the Intarsia technique for the colour work sections which is laid out in a straightforward and easy to follow way. There are only a couple of rows which require you to carry yarn across the back of the work, making this a great project to try out colour work!

Materials:
15m (16 1/2yd) white yarn
30m (33yd) black yarn
1m (1 1/10yd) yellow yarn
1m (1 1/10yd) red yarn
1m (1 1/10yd) blue yarn
5m (5 1/2yd) orange yarn
Two black 5mm (1/5in) safety eyes
Toy filling

Finished size: 11cm (4 3/8in) from top of head to bottom of the bird
