Puffy Cuffs Sox
Sister “adult sizes” pattern to Puffy Cuffs Baby Sox
Instructions are provided how to adjust the size.
Requires:
< 1 ball Knit Picks Stroll for toes / heels / cuffs contrast color
< 1/2 skein Knit Picks Handpainted for main sock body & cuffs
Size 1.5 & Size 3 needles (40” circular, DPNs, or 9” circular as you prefer)
You can substitute any combination of solid / variegated that you want; this pattern works with two solids or a solid and a variegated and you can use the variegated either as the main color or as the contrast as you prefer. Two variegated is probably a bit too busy.
This is a simple sock pattern suitable for new sock knitters as it uses very few complex stitches. The pattern is written for toe up two-at-a-time with magic loop, though you could knit on DPNs or 9” circular as you prefer.
The puffy cuff is worked with the “opposite” stitches as the main body with 2 strands on larger needles and then folded when worn, yielding the same pattern as the body.
