Pullip Functional Hoodie
This pattern is
available for free.
A pattern for a hoodie; the hood will actually fit over the head of a Pullip doll.
Hood is cast on provisionally and knit to neck, whereupon needle size is changed and raglan increases form the sweater portion. Sleeves are knit flat and seamed (this is the only sewing required). The hood is then knit from the live stitches left by cast-on and grafted together at the top. Instructions are given to knit trim around the front of the entire sweater.
Yarn suggested is DK-weight cotton, but sock yarn would yield better results. I’m cheap and don’t want to use my good sock yarn leftovers for the example. You will need less than 25g or one-half a regular sized ball of the suggested or sock-weight yarn.
