Most pumpkin hats are sized for children. This hat features a jack-o-lantern face and is sized for adults. The original was made with 1 skein Peace Fleece Worsted in Glastnost Gold, 1/4 skein of Shaba (green), and 1/4 skein Ancient Fern (brown), though any worsted weight in colors you like will work.

The color work is charted and was done in intarsia, which involved slipping the brown stitches and working backwards every other row.
