This beanie hat is worked in a rectangle and is quick and easy to work up. The pattern comes in sizes tiny preemie to adults. The pattern explains what changes to make if you want to make it without the folded brim.

sc = single crochet (double crochet in UK)
hsc = herringbone single crochet (herringbone single crochet UK)
insert hook into the left vertical strand of previous stitch, then insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop, yarn over pull through all 3 loops on hook
blo = back loop only (crochet into the back loop of the stitch

slst = slip stitch
