This is our pattern for a handknitted beanie style hat, with rolled brim, wide rib to create pumpkin ridges, and double decrease and cord used to create stem.

It can be made in 4 sizes, from 0-6m up to 3-6 years, but it would easily be possible to increase cast on stitches and create larger sizes.

The hat requires one 50g ball in rust/orange, and small quantity of green for the stem.
