This festive fall bonnet is made with only straight needles!

This pumpkin bonnet fits size 12 months.

It uses worsted weight yarn and can be made very quickly!

You’ll need to know how to do the following stitches to knit this bonnet: Knit, Purl, KFB, K2TOG, K3TOG, and SSK.

On each increase and decrease round, I have included the amount of stitches that should remain on your needles at the end of the round. These constant “check points” make it easy to be sure you are on the right track!

Only very small amounts of brown and green yarn are needed -- scraps from your stash should be plenty! Otherwise, you’ll want one skein of orange yarn. I used Wool of The Andes from Knit Picks. If you start with a full skein of their yarn, you should have plenty leftover, too!
