Our crochet pumpkin casserole cover will have you wondering if its real! Trimmed with leaves and vines this cover is worked with a double strand of post sts for a 3-dimensional effect. I’ve also recreated the cord st and have my version of the “twisted cord” st you’ll have fun working! Great for Halloween or Thanksgiving and what better way to present your casserole when attending a party or buffet.

Materials:
• 2 skeins Red Heart 4-ply med WW yarn (pumpkin) Or 4 skeins Peaches & Crème ™ 8-ply Double WW cotton yarn (sunburst) (5 oz)
• Sm amts Red Heart 4-ply med WW yarn ea (carrot, sage, lt sage, & brown)
• Aluminum hook size I/9 (5.50 mm)

Finishing Materials:
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)

Finished Size: fits a 2 ½ qt rnd casserole dish with straight sides (8” dia x 3 ½” T)
Gauge: 2 rnds dc = 1 ¼”
