Pumpkin Dice Bag
If your Halloween season starts in August (like mine), I’ve got just the bag for you! No matter if you’re using it for dice, crystals, cool rocks you find on a walk to trick-or-treat candy- a quirky pumpkin bag makes everything better.
Let me tell you, this baby can hold a whole darn lot of dice! The pumpkin itself measures a roughly 8 x 6 inch circle, and the use of front and back post stitches makes the fabric super sturdy so wear-and-tear won’t affect the shape, and you can be confident that you can pack this puppy with every cool rock, dice set or tarot deck that brings you joy and it won’t make your pumpkin sag. If you made this thing out of cotton it would be unstoppable.
I usually write my bag patterns with crossbody straps but l found that the pumpkin shape worked much better as a shoulder bag, but there are instructions to make them longer if you’d rather.
If you’re already comfortable with FPHDC/ BPHDC and working in the round, this pattern will be a breeze- but of course if you get stuck at any point please feel free to reach out to me :) I hope you love making your pumpkin bags as much as I do!
