This pattern is the third in a costume. It has 4 patterns in it:
A knitted sheath
A knitted i-cord
A crocheted flower
A crocheted leaf

The i-cord cinches the top of the sheath. It is kept from slipping out of the eyelets by the flower and leaf attached to the ends of it.

The ensemble is finished with a bonnet in the same colors as can be seen in the picture.
