Here is my take on the popular pumpkin hats making the rounds in the pattern world. This pattern uses U.S. crochet terms.

The pattern uses magic circles, chain, sc, hdc, fdc, and reverse crochet stitches.

To make this pattern you need:
1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Carrot, or other worsted weight (10-ply) yarn

a small amount of worsted weight yarn (10-ply) in green

darning needle to weave in ends and sew the stem to the hat

I (5.5 mm) hook

a small amount of Fiberfill or other stuffing for the stem

Sizes- The adult size small/medium should fit heads with a circumference up to 20”. The adult size large/xlarge should fit heads with a circumference up to 24”.
