2 gauges are given. The pumpkin-like striations are created with a tuck stitch pattern. Sizes of 14-22” in circumference, increasing in increments of 1”. The hats may be made on any machine with patterning abilityl0p Orange and green yarn are needed. For the bulky version a #4 yarn on the thick end of the #4 spectrum is recommended. In the tuck pattern stitch, it gets a gauge of 3.75 stitches/8 rows per inch. For the standard & mid-gauge version, Tamm Bebe is recommended. In the pattern stitch it gets a gauge of 6.25 stitches/12 rows per inch at stitch size 9 on the standard machine.
