About: This fun project works up quickly and requires only basic crochet skills.

Sizing: The pattern is written to fit adult cats and toy / miniature dog breeds. These hats generally fit cats 7-15lbs. Measurement and kitten size information is included in the pattern.

Construction: You will be working from the top down, crocheting the straps directly onto the hat and attaching the stem and leaf separately.

Materials Needed:

• 4.5mm / 7 crochet hook
• Darning needle for finishing
• Approx 60 yrds worsted weight yarn in orange
• Approx 10 yrds worsted weight yarn in green

• 2 yrds worsted weight in brown

  Optional: yellow felt & fabric glue (if making a jack-o-lantern face, see Photos below)
