I see a lot of pumpkin hats made the same way, and was shooting for something different. I wouldn’t call this a pumpkin hat, but it’s definitely pumpkin-ish, and you can make it in many different color combinations for fall :)

K hook, or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge: 6 dc sts, 4 dc rows = 2”
