Pumpkin Kaddu
Kaddu is a cute and small crocheted pumpkin. This pattern is very quick to make. With this simple to create small pumpkin you can add a seasonal touch to any room, table or desk. The pattern can be made in a wide variety of yarns and will still look good!
The pattern for pumpkin Kaddu calls for Hoooked Eco Barbante and Hoooked Soft Cotton DK, but any yarn can be substituted. These two yarns are the same weight so you can easily substitute two colours of your favourite yarn. Just make sure to pick the correct hook to go with your yarn.
When following the pattern and using the yarn suggested this small pumpkin is approximately 7 cm in diameter when finished.
Gauge is not important, though if you crochet very loosely I’d recommend a smaller hook then asked for, just so the stuffing doesn’t show through the fabric of the pumpkin.
This is a simple pattern with many pictures. It’s easy to follow, even for beginners.
