Mini version~
Adjustable version with leaves~

A pumpkin with ridges made using front post double crochet, and double crochet. The pumpkin has the option to have a stem with or without a vine of leaves. The tutorial for the vine of leaves is in the adjustable version, with time stamps within the video.

Following the pattern, the larger pumpkin will be approximately 1.5 inches/3.5cm wide and tall. The sizing is adjustable, and the pumpkin can be made larger or smaller, or using other weights of yarn.

The mini version will be approx. 2cm wide and 1.5cm tall.

Skill level; intermediate if using lace/not used to it. If you have good tension and use a yarn size that you’re used to, this should be a very simple pattern.

Stitches/ methods used:

Magic loop, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet, and treble crochet. (US terms)

Materials needed:

• Yarn or crochet thread.

• If possible, use a smaller hook size than usual for your weight of yarn. For worsted weight I’d recommend a 3.5mm hook, and for size 10 thread I’d recommend a 1.25mm hook.

• Stuffing; I used Poly-fil Fiber Fill.

• Yarn needle.

This is definitely a wonderful project for scrap yarn leftover as it doesn’t use much.
