Pumpkin Pop-Over
The majority of this pattern is the same as my Granny Square Pop-Over pattern. If you already have that one, you can find the pattern for the pumpkin square for free on my blog
During spooky season, we all need something seasonal to keep us warm.
As versatile and customisable as the original Granny Square Pop-Over, this one has the added charm of a creepy cutie to keep you company through the dark nights.
So quick to make, you can hook them up for the whole family to wear to the pumpkin patch, or while stalking the streets on All Hallows’ Eve.
Wherever you wear yours, you’ll feel snug, smug, and suitable spooky!
Sometimes you don’t need the bulk of a jumper underneath your jacket, but still want something a little cosy, which is why pop-overs are perfect!
Whether you wear yours as a warming vest over a shirt, or peeking out from beneath your winter coat, you can feel cosy and creepy in your seasonal crochet cover-up. Avoid those tropical moments in overheated shopping centres, and those brisk chills on your neck in the woods, this versatile top will be your go-to for all those in-between weather days.
This is a made to measure pattern so you can use any yarn, fibre and hook you have to hand. Meterage will vary greatly depending on your chosen size and yarn, I used approx. 350m to make my size M aran samples.
Pattern is written in both US and UK crochet terminology and is also available for free as a blog post on my website.
