Halloween is around the corner. The kid is asking to be a cute pumpkin. All store bought costumes are overpriced, and not fit for both school party during day time, and the cold trick or treat night. This is what this costume is created for!

The design is top-down, so it is easy to adjust the size to fit. The costume is made oversized with the intention to be worn over a puffy jacket. The drawstrings at the front and back are designed to make the costume snug fit without a jacket.

The best is cheap and fast! The costume is made with only 1/2 stein of orange yarn, plus some scrap green and black yarns. Tulle can be bought cheap in local craft store. It can be done within a day, and it is a fun crafting activity to let the kid participate.
