WATCH YOUR GAUGE! (Very important in order to adjust needle size-I tend to knit very tightly.)

Stitch Markers-Why 3?
The first stitch marker is for the beginning of the rows. (This one should be different than the other two!)

The second and third stitch markers are for the beginning and end of the chart pattern. These are used to separate the chart pattern from the rest of the stitches. :)

To Decrease Length of Hat
My hat ended up being around 8” from start to finish. However, some may wish to shorten the length of the hat.
My suggestions to decrease the length of the hat are to:
1: Shorten the amount of ribbing from 2” to 1”
2: Skip rows 1-7 of chart pattern and go into skull knitting
3: Skip rows 40-44 of chart pattern and go into hat decreases
