A straightforward construction consisting of knitting in the round, basic decreases and beading is suitable for adventurous beginners or relaxing for experienced knitters. Suggested Needles:
Ribbing: US2 (2.75mm) 16” circular

Body: US4 (3.5mm) 16” circular for hat body and 32” circular for magic loop or DPNs for crown decreases

Construction Notes:
This hat is knit from brim to crown in the round. It begins with 2” (5cm) of twisted rib for a neat looking brim that will keep the hat in place. The body of the hat is heavily beaded stockinette stitch in a pattern reminiscent to the tiles on a mirror ball/disco ball. The crown is shaped with straight forward, widely distributed decreases that fit within the beaded repeat to continue the beaded pattern all the way to through the crown. The crown shaping adds a series of beaded circles to finish off the hat. The pattern is both written and charted.
