It has a curly leaf on top modeled after a genuine pumpkin patch leaf!

Brisk winds, shorter days and leaves changing colors bring about an undeniable urge to dress babies up as food. At least for me anyway… Introducing a simple ribbed beanie with garter stitch ruffled leaves, curling i-cord decorations and a stem on top for your own little punkin’ to wear this Autumn.

This pattern has been tech-edited and test knit.

Worsted-weight yarn and a simple pattern means this hat works up very quickly. The decorative garter stitch leaf and curly i-cord work up with just a little bit of spare yarn. You can also mix up stem and leaf colors!
